An Eye Opener

Wives, I had a wake up call… Since I’ve been on a mission to spruce up my marriage, all of a sudden it seems like people in my circle are experiencing marriage issues. What worked back in the day… isn’t cutting it these days. See, our husbands are finding out they have options… Well they may have known, but haven’t acted on them. These women are making it hard for them to resist.



I attended a bridal shower one day, and boy… it made me realize how important it was for a marriage make over. Many of the ladies were single and probably in their  early 30’s, the conversation was primarily what I expected, they discussed going out, shaking their booty and what they were going to wear etc. However, what really caught me off guard was one of the ladies (a single women) told us about her trip to the adult entertainment store.


I’m in my 40’s married for over 20 years and never been in a store like that. She then explained some of the products, and what the items do… I couldn’t believe she not only went in the store, but asked very detailed questions. When sharing this experience with everyone , she did not leave anything to our imagination. After I shut my mouth back closed, from the shock of the conversation and what was being said, I said to myself, this is the competition us married women are up against. This situation just made me aware of how I need to be more attentive to my husband’s wants and desires, because there's an abundance of women offering and available to please our husbands.

Not only do we have to be superwomen of our households, but we have to master up some creativity and take charge in our bedrooms. Trying very hard to remove NO from my vocabulary, and thinking of taking a field trip to the Adult store..Well.... we'll see... LOL
