About Minding My Marriage

Mindingmymarriage: This blog is about making an conscious effort to make marriage fun & exciting again. After many years of dating my high school sweetheart, being married to him for over 20 years, having 4 children, and acquiring, 2 dogs, we found ourselves bored. We were functioning as a family, but yet separate and taking each other for granted. Letting circumstances, busy schedules, finances, pull us apart. My husband and I had come to a point where we both thought should we continue together or move on apart. After a lot of soul searching and looking at the choices I’ve made so far in the forty something years of my life, I had to really sit down to think about what I really wanted out of the remainder of my life. I heard many times before, Life is what you make it, and I believe that so for marriage. We both decided that our children are the most important and to move forward together as a family! As we make a conscious effort to make our marriage fun and interesting, I decided to share this information.
